Daphne, AL (February 24, 2025) – In partnership with Baldwin Bone & Joint’s ongoing 21st Many More Miles community shoe drive, City Hope Church will host “Deliver Hope” on Sunday, March 9. On this day, congregants are encouraged to bring their gently worn or new shoes to any City Hope Church campus across the Gulf Coast.

Melanie Daw, Associate Pastor, Outreach, City Hope Church says, “We want to invite you to partner with us and Baldwin Bone & Joint to make a difference in our local community through an outreach event called Deliver Hope: Shoes! On March 9, we simply ask you to bring gently used or new shoes, tied together, to your campus lobbies. From there, the shoe donations will be distributed to those in need across Mobile & Baldwin County through our partnering organizations. Together, through this simple act of giving, we look forward to delivering hope to those who need it, one pair of shoes at a time!”

21st Annual Many More Miles Shoe Drive – Baldwin Bone & Joint Partners With City Hope Church, Baldwin County Public Schools, St. Michael Catholic High School & Bayshore Christian School

DAPHNE, Ala. (February 5, 2025) – The 21st Annual Many More Miles Campaign, organized by Baldwin Bone & Joint, P.C., is currently underway. Launched on January 8th, 2025, this community outreach initiative will continue to collect gently used footwear for local individuals and families in need through March 12.

In partnership with the ongoing community shoe drive, City Hope Church will host “Deliver Hope” on Sunday, March 9, where congregants are encouraged to donate their gently worn shoes to any of the church’s campuses across the Gulf Coast to further support the Many More Miles campaign.

Dr. Keith Spain, fellowship-trained non-surgical sports medicine specialist with Baldwin Bone & Joint suggests that local runners check the mileage on their running shoes. “Depending on your size and running style, you’ll typically get around 400 miles out of a pair. When you are done with your shoes, consider donating them to our Many More Miles campaign. We’ll ensure your shoes find a good home and provide support to those who need them,” states Spain. He also serves once again as Medical Director for the Azalea Trail Run.
