DAPHNE, Ala. (January 27, 2022)Dr. John L. Todd, Medical Director for The Shoulder Center (TSC) and fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon, will discuss the common causes and solutions for the aching shoulder at a free community education seminar on Friday, March 18, 2022.

Todd will present “Oh My Aching Shoulder: Understanding Common Causes and Solutions” at the Foley Senior Center beginning at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 18. The Foley Senior Center is located at 304 E Rose Avenue.

This community education seminar is developed especially for those seeking solutions to issues of the shoulder.

There is no charge to attend; however, reservations are required by calling 251.943.1877 by Wednesday, March 16. Lunch will be provided to all who RSVP ahead of time.

Dr. Todd will present “Oh My Aching Shoulder: Understanding Common Causes and Solutions” at the Orange Beach Senior/Adult Activity Center beginning at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 14. The Orange Beach Senior/Adult Activity Center is located at 26251 Canal Road.

This community education seminar is developed especially for those seeking solutions to issues of the shoulder. The shoulder is one of the most mobile and problematic joints of the body, and common symptoms of shoulder problems include pain, weakness and loss of motion that can interfere with activities of daily living, work and recreation. Todd, an experienced shoulder specialist, will discuss common causes and the latest options available – including non-operative and operative care.

The Shoulder Center, the latest in specialty care to be offered by Baldwin Bone & Joint, takes a comprehensive approach to the care of shoulder conditions. Dr. John Todd and the TSC staff are specially trained and equipped to see patients with shoulder problems through every step of the diagnosis, treatment, and recovery process.

Todd and Dr. Michael Chamblee, orthopaedic specialists with Baldwin Bone & Joint, P.C. and The Shoulder Center at Baldwin Bone & Joint, P.C, will discuss the common causes and treatment options for aching shoulders and hips at a community education seminar, Tuesday, September 26. The program will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be held at Baldwin Bone & Joint located at 1505 Daphne Avenue, Daphne, AL.

He will discuss the management of hip arthritis, and both non-operative and operative intervention, specifically addressing the anterior total hip replacement.
