City Hope Church to Host “Deliver Hope”
on Sunday, February 8
Congregants Encouraged to Donate Gently Worn Shoes to Any City Hope Church Campus Across the Gulf Coast
Daphne, AL (January 30, 2026) – In partnership with Baldwin Bone & Joint’s ongoing 22nd Many More Miles community shoe drive, City Hope Church will host “Deliver Hope” on Sunday, February 8. On this day, congregants and the community are encouraged to bring their gently worn or new shoes (athletic, everyday shoes, and boots) to any City Hope Church campus across the Gulf Coast.
“We invite everyone in our community to join with our church and Baldwin Bone & Joint for Deliver Hope, an outreach event dedicated to making a positive impact right here at home,” said Melanie Daw, Associate Pastor of Outreach at City Hope Church. “On Sunday, February 8, we encourage you to bring gently used or new shoes, securely tied together, to our campus lobbies. These donations will be distributed to individuals in need throughout Mobile and Baldwin County via our trusted partner organizations. Through this simple act of generosity, we look forward to delivering hope—one pair of shoes at a time.”

(December 29, 2025) — Baldwin Bone & Joint is proud to announce that Dr. Keith Spain will serve as Medical Director for the Azalea Trail Run, scheduled for March 28, 2026, marking his fifth consecutive year in the role and continuing his long-standing commitment to athlete safety and one of Mobile’s most iconic community events.
The Azalea Trail Run, a long-standing Gulf Coast tradition, draws thousands of runners each spring with this year’s race. As Medical Director, Spain oversees medical preparedness and on-course care, coordinating with race organizers, first responders, and volunteer medical teams to help ensure a safe and successful race for all participants.
“Events like the Azalea Trail Run bring people together and promote healthy, active lifestyles,” Spain said. “It’s an honor to support the runners and the community by helping ensure the race is both successful and safe year after year.”

MANY MORE MILES CAMPAIGN SHIFTS TO WEEK OF GIVING: Baldwin Bone & Joint, P.C., along with City Hope Church and participating Baldwin County Schools, is hosting the 22nd community outreach event. In 2026, the Many More Miles Campaign will shift to Week of Giving on March 9-13, 2026, in which shoe donations will be collected for foster families, homeless communities and local schools. Dropoff sites include Baldwin Bone & Joint in Daphne; partnering Baldwin County Schools and other local schools; and the University of South Alabama Student Recreation Center, White-Spunner Realty and McCoy Outdoor Co in Mobile. Baldwin Bone & Joint will continue to award cash prizes to the top three schools collecting the highest number of shoes.
