Hicks brings an experienced, committed, and highly trained focus on complex surgeries, including motion preservation surgery, to Baldwin Bone & Joint.
“My goal is to ensure the optimal health and functionality of the spine utilizing the latest advancements in both non-operative and operative spine care—helping my patients get back to their previous function and quality of life, if not even better,” Hicks said.
Hicks received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Georgia and earned a Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Georgia. He completed orthopaedic surgery residency training at the University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB) and Complex and Minimally Invasive Spine Fellowship at Swedish Hospital in Seattle.
