Daphne, Ala. (December 29, 2025) — Baldwin Bone & Joint is proud to announce that Dr. Keith Spain will serve as Medical Director for the Azalea Trail Run, scheduled for March 28, 2026, marking his fifth consecutive year in the role and continuing his long-standing commitment to athlete safety and one of Mobile’s most iconic community events.
The Azalea Trail Run, a long-standing Gulf Coast tradition, draws thousands of runners each spring with this year’s race. As Medical Director, Spain oversees medical preparedness and on-course care, coordinating with race organizers, first responders, and volunteer medical teams to help ensure a safe and successful race for all participants.
“Events like the Azalea Trail Run bring people together and promote healthy, active lifestyles,” Spain said. “It’s an honor to support the runners and the community by helping ensure the race is both successful and safe year after year.”
