Baldwin Bone & Joint Serves As Title Sponsor for 2024 Gulf Coast Paddle & Racket Battle!

Daphne, Ala. (August 21, 2024) — Baldwin Bone & Joint is proud to partner with WKRG for the 2nd Annual Gulf Coast Paddle & Racket Battle coming Nov. 2 to the Daphne Tennis and Pickleball Complex – Lott Park.  This year’s tournament will benefit the American Heart Association and Rapahope. 

Competitions will include men’s and women’s doubles in tennis and men’s and women’s doubles in pickleball – no juniors this year.

Registration information: 

Entry fees are $50 per player.
Admission to the event is free.

  • Can I register for both tennis and pickleball? No, tennis or pickleball registration only.
  • Is this a sanctioned tournament? Yes, UTR/UTRP-sanctioned ratings tournament.
  • Must I have a rating from Universal Tennis to play in the tournament (UTR and/or UTRP)? Yes, you get your free rating from UniversalTennis.com. You can also download the Universal Tennis App.
  • What is the tournament format? Competitions will include men’s and women’s doubles in tennis and men’s and women’s doubles in pickleball – no juniors this year.
  • What is the minimum age to register and play in the tournament? 9 years old.
  • What is the weather reschedule date? Nov. 3, 2024.
  • How many regulation courts? 10 outdoor tennis courts and 12 outdoor pickleball courts.
  • Is player registration payment refundable? No, the registration payment is a donation benefiting the American Heart Association and Rapahope and is non-refundable.
  • Are restrooms on site? Yes.
  • Food and beverages on site? Yes.
