Baldwin Bone and Joint Welcomes Dr. Cesar M. Roca, Jr. to Orthopaedic Team
Orthopaedic Surgeon, Sports Medicine Specialist Now in Full-time Practice At Spanish Fort Office Location
DAPHNE, AL. (Jan. 24, 2025) –Baldwin Bone and Joint is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Cesar M. Roca, Jr. to its team of orthopaedic specialists. With over three decades of expertise in orthopaedics, sports medicine, and arthroscopic surgery, Roca specializes in shoulder and knee arthroscopy, shoulder reconstruction, and trauma management.
Roca earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of New Orleans, followed by a Master of Science in Biochemistry and a Doctor of Medicine from Tulane University. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Tulane University School of Medicine along with sports medicine training at the Hughston Clinic in Georgia and Tulane Sports Medicine.
Board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery since 1994, Roca recently achieved recertification in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine in 2024.

“I have been blessed to love my profession even after 31 years of practicing orthopaedic surgery. Roca’s professional affiliations include membership in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), the American College of Sports Medicine, and the American College of Surgeons. He is also a member of the Hughston Sports Medicine Society.
Roca comes to Baldwin Bone and Joint after serving as a sports medicine specialist with a Mobile, Ala.-based orthopaedic group since 2003. At Baldwin Bone and Joint, Roca will continue his dedication to excellence in patient care, focusing on restoring mobility and improving quality of life through advanced orthopaedic treatment.
