March Speaker Topics Include Solutions for Common Hand Disorders and Arthritic Pain Relief Options

DAPHNE, AL (February 12, 2024) – Daphne-based orthopaedic practice, Baldwin Bone & Joint continues its Winter 2024 Community Education Series in March 2024 in both Bay Minette and Daphne, Ala. A complimentary lunch will be provided to all who RSVP prior to each event.

On Friday, March 8 at 11 a.m., Dr. Allison Hunter, fellowship-trained hand and upper extremity surgeon with Baldwin Bone & Joint, will present her talk entitled, “Solutions for Common Hand Disorders.” The discussion will include interactive hand/elbow examinations. Our hands play an invaluable role in how we live our lives, performing actions that help make us who we are. When injury or disease of the bones, nerves, joints, and muscles threatens their functioning, overall quality of life is at risk of being sidelined as well.

On Thursday, March 21 beginning at 10:15 a.m., Dr. Keith Spain, fellowship-trained non-surgical sports medicine specialist with Baldwin Bone & Joint, will present his talk entitled, “Non-Surgical Treatment Options for Relief of Pain from Arthritis.” Arthritis is extremely common. Experts estimate that more than one-third of Americans have some degree of arthritis in their joints.
