January Speaker Topics Include Understanding Osteoporosis and Treatment Solutions for Chronic Back Pain
DAPHNE, AL (December 15, 2023) – Daphne-based orthopaedic practice, Baldwin Bone & Joint announces the kickoff of its Winter 2024 Community Education Series to begin January 2024 in both Spanish Fort and Orange Beach, Al. A complimentary lunch will be provided to all who RSVP before each event.
On Thursday, January 11 at 11:00 a.m., Holly Scott, CRNP and Coordinator for the Osteo Health Clinic at Baldwin Bone and Joint will present her talk entitled, Let’s Talk About Osteoporosis: Understanding Osteoporosis and the Importance of Optimizing Bone Health as You Age. “Osteoporosis significantly impacts many, especially women over 50 and post-menopausal women. Nearly half of all women in those groups are likely to experience a broken bone or other bone issues due to osteoporosis and 25 percent of men over 50 will likely have the same problems,” states Scott.
The event will be held at the Spanish Fort Senior Center located on 7361 Spanish Fort Blvd in Spanish Fort, Al. Reservations will be accepted through January 9 by signing up at the Spanish Fort Senior Center Bulletin Board.
