Daphne, AL (December 23, 2014) – Baldwin Bone & Joint, P.C is gearing up now to provide sports physical examinations to over 500 Middle and High School athletes in Baldwin County on Saturday, January 10th from 8:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. The following schedule is setup for athletes:
8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.: Daphne High School
9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.: Daphne Middle School
10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.: Baldwin County High School
11:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.: Baldwin County Middle School
11:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.: Open to all other schools, including middle & high school athletes
This service, provided annually for all student athletes (not limited to Baldwin County), will be held at their Daphne office located at 1505 Daphne Avenue (Hwy 64 – corner of Daphne Avenue and Pollard Road).
The physicals are mandatory for students preparing to participate in competitive activities during the 2015 academic year. The cost of the exam is $15 and payment may be made in cash or by credit card. No checks will be accepted. Athletes interested in participating should contact their athletic director for information on their school’s allotted examination time.
Baldwin Bone & Joint Certified Athletic Trainers provide sports medicine coverage to several local school athletic teams. The physicians, fellowship trained and specializing in sports medicine, serve as team orthopaedic doctors, as well.
