February Speaker Topics Include Solutions for Common Hand Disorders & Arthritic Pain Relief Options

DAPHNE, AL (February 1, 2024) – Daphne-based orthopaedic practice, Baldwin Bone & Joint continues its Winter 2024 Community Education Series in February 2024 in both Foley and Fairhope, AL with Dr. Allison Hunter, and Dr. Keith Spain. A complimentary lunch will be provided to all who RSVP prior to each event.

On Friday, Feb 16 at 11:00 a.m., Dr. Allison Hunter, fellowship-trained hand and upper extremity surgeon will present her talk entitled, “Solutions for Common Hand Disorders.” The discussion will include interactive hand/elbow examinations. Our hands play an invaluable role in how we live our lives, performing actions that help make us who we are. When injury or disease of the bones, nerves, joints, and muscles threatens their functioning, overall quality of life is at risk of being sidelined as well. The event will be held at the Foley Senior Center located on 304 E Rose Avenue, Foley, Al. Reservations will be accepted through February 14 by calling 251-943-1877.
On Wednesday, February 21 at 12:00 noon, Dr. Keith Spain, fellowship-trained non-surgical sports medicine specialist will present his talk entitled, “Non-Surgical Treatment Options for Relief of Pain from Arthritis.” Arthritis is extremely common. Experts estimate that more than one-third of Americans have some degree of arthritis in their joints. The event will be held at the James P. Nix Senior Center, 1 Bayou Drive, Fairhope, Al.
