William I. Park, IV, MDLong-term Mobile, Al-based Orthopaedic Specialist Moves Practice to Baldwin Bone & Joint, P.C.

DAPHNE, AL (June 26, 2020) – The physicians and staff of Baldwin Bone & Joint are pleased to announce the association of fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. William I. Park, IV, FAAOS.

Park brings to new and current patients of Baldwin Bone & Joint more than 20 years of experience and fellowship-training in treating complex, lower extremity issues whether congenital, degenerative or traumatic. With a wide range of experience and skills, Park additionally treats everything from bunions and hammertoes to tendon reconstructions, ankle and foot arthritis and trauma to arthroscopic knee surgeries and knee replacements.

“The most important lesson I have learned is that orthopaedic issues must be managed within the context of each patient as an individual,” says Park. “That is why I will spend the necessary time with each and every patient determining the correct diagnosis and maximizing conservative treatment while being fully proficient in state-of-the-art arthroscopic, minimally invasive, and complex reconstructive techniques that may be required to speed along that patient’s recovery, optimize their function and return them to a healthy, active lifestyle.”

Park completed both his medical residency and fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery at the University of Tennessee’s renowned Campbell Clinic in Memphis, TN. He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Through his more than two decades of orthopaedic practice, he has become adept at treating patients of all ages, and activity levels from children to weekend warriors to competitive athletes.

After spending his formative years in Mobile, Al, Park received his undergraduate degree in zoology from Duke University to maximize his exposure to anatomy and biomechanics which transitioned into his passion for orthopaedics. He then completed medical school at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in 1997. His fellowship-training in foot and ankle surgery took place at the Campbell Clinic, Memphis, TN.

Park comes to the Baldwin Bone & Joint team of fellowship-trained othopaedic specialists following over 20 years of practice based in Mobile, AL. Park will continue to see patients from Mobile and Baldwin Counties as well as surrounding communities, at Baldwin Bone & Joint’s Daphne, Al office.

Appointments with Park may be scheduled by calling 251.625.2663 or visiting baldwinboneandjoint.com.
